D-TT - davit of telescopic track type with stored hydraulic power.

If the available space on board, especially the height, is very limited, the telescopic davit is often the solution to leave given deck arrangement undisturbed.

The system provides all necessary functions, such as launching and recovery of the boat. The launching of the fully equipped boat including the full complement of persons is realised from the stored position by means of hydraulic stored power in addition to gravity.

For lowering and hoisting as appropriate, the system is equipped with an electric winch. Hoisting of the fully equipped boat, including the hoisting crew, is realized by an incorporated electric motor. For launching of the boat under dead ship condition the davit system is equipped with an accumulator unit. In case of power failure or malfunctioning of the electric system, hoisting can also be realised manually.
